Description
The GUE Cave 1 course is an introduction to the principles of cave diving and the skills and knowledge required for limited penetration of underwater caves. This course provides divers with a complete understanding of the cave environment, focused on safe gas management.
Cave divers will enhance their skills for diving without natural light sources, enclosed spaces, the need to return to the cave entrance to finish the dive, and the self-discipline to follow a line and navigate the cave correctly.
Requirements:
– Minimum age of 18 years
– Be physically and mentally fit
– Not being a smoker
– Medical authorization in case of taking prescribed medications
– Possess GUE Fundamentals technical certification
– Minimum of 100 logged dives
Training:
– Minimum of 12 dives (includes 10 dives in 3 different caves)
– Minimum of 40 hours of instruction.
