Description
The Technical Diver 1 course prepares divers to begin their training in technical diving. This course also provides the foundation for GUE rebreather courses, GUE advanced technical training, as well as GUE project and exploration diving.
With this course we will practice, integrate and increase the essential skills required for safe technical diving, identify and solve problems, use the twin tank configuration and address the possible problems and failures associated with its use, strategies for general and accelerated decompression using nitrox , minimizing narcosis by using helium, and applying decompression procedures to dives with a single decompression tank.
Requirements:
– Minimum age of 18 years
– Be physically and mentally fit
– Not being a smoker
– Medical authorization in case of taking prescribed medications
– Possess GUE Fundamentals technical certification
– Minimum of 100 logged dives
Training:
– Minimum of 7 dives (includes 3 trimix experience dives)
– Minimum of 48 hours of instruction.
